Day 30 is not the end. It is a better beginning.
It is easy to look at one number and decide whether today was “good” or “bad.”
But your body is more than a score.
Sleep stages reveal your nightly structure. Resting heart rate reflects physical load. HRV trends provide context for recovery. Temperature and blood oxygen trends help establish your personal baseline. Activity and Body Energy can help you decide whether to move forward—or make room for rest.
The real value of a Smart Ring is not achieving a perfect number every day.
It is discovering
Which habits support better sleep;
What level of training works for you;
When your energy feels strongest;
When your body may need more recovery.
Do not measure your rhythm against someone else’s numbers.
Follow your long-term trends, understand your personal baseline, and let your data support better everyday choices.
Know yourself a little better, every day.
Your Energy, Made Visible.

An energy score is an interpretation, not a sensor reading
A ring can observe signals such as pulse-wave timing, motion and skin-temperature trends. Sleep periods, resting heart rate, HRV, activity and recovery indicators are then estimated from those signals. An “energy” view is one more layer: it organizes several estimates into a simpler daily summary. There is no energy sensor inside the ring, and the score is not a laboratory measurement.
That distinction makes the feature more useful. The headline number answers, “How does today compare with my recent pattern?” The supporting signals answer, “Why might it look different?” If sleep duration is lower, resting heart rate is elevated and activity load was unusual, the combination carries more context than any isolated value. If only one signal moves while data coverage is poor, confidence should be lower.
Read the screen in this order
- Coverage: Was the ring worn long enough, especially overnight? Are there gaps?
- Comparison: Is the app comparing with your personal baseline, or are you comparing yourself with another person?
- Agreement: Do sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, temperature trend and activity tell a coherent story?
- Context: Travel, alcohol, late meals, hard training, illness, stress and a loose fit can change the picture.
- Action: Choose a proportionate response—observe, protect recovery, or seek advice when symptoms matter.
Consider three mornings. A lower score after a late flight is expected context. A normal score despite feeling ill should not overrule symptoms. A gradual two-week shift across several signals deserves attention even if no single day looks dramatic. The interface is a prompt for reflection, not a verdict on what you can do.
Prevent the score from running your day
Check it after first noticing how you feel. Avoid repeatedly refreshing or cancelling plans because of a small change. Use weekly patterns to test one behaviour at a time, and annotate unusual days. Consumer wearables are most informative when the device, fit and routine are consistent; accuracy varies by metric and by conditions such as motion.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is an energy score a direct measurement of energy?
No. It is an interpretation built from available signals such as sleep, activity, resting heart rate and HRV. The score depends on signal quality, the algorithm and how much personal baseline data is available.
What should I do when the score disagrees with how I feel?
Check the underlying measurements and recent context first. Missing data, unusual exercise, alcohol, illness, travel and a different fit can change the estimate. Use symptoms and functional ability alongside the trend; do not let a wellness score overrule a concerning symptom.
